Mas Duran is a rural house builded in1651. After thirty years uninhabited in 1985 we started to renovate it. From 1995 is a tourism rural house. Today Mas Duran has five rooms, every one with bathroom and heating; two drawing rooms and two dining rooms with air-conditioned and also heating.

El Mas Duran belong to La Pera municipality, in the Baix Empordà region. Mas Duran is 15 Km from Girona and 10 Km from La Bisbal d'Empordà. It's 800 metres from La Pera town, in a little farming valley enclosed by the Gavarres mountains.Púbol, the little town where Salvador Dalí has buy a casthle for his wife Gala is 1'5 Km. from Mas Duran. Mas Duran form a part of Dalí triangle.To the south and the west from Mas Duran there are Les Gavarres a natural espace protégé from 1992.
